Thank goodness for Netflix. The Queens Gambit, a delightful series starting Anya Taylor Joy (she starred in Emma which I loved) who plays Beth, a troubled young orphan girl who seeks solitude and comfort in the world of chess. A beautiful coming of age story about a young woman making her mark in a mans world. It’s seven episodes and you’re going to want to savor every last bit.
