Julia

Binged four episodes last night watching HBO MAX Julia. The talented British actress Sarah Lancashire (of Happy Valley fame) plays Julia and the series begins as she’s filming the pilot of her show, The French Chef, which pioneered the modern cooking show. It’s absolutely charming and alongside Lancashire is an all star cast, David Hyde Pierce plays her beloved husband Paul and Bebe Nuewirth plays her sharp tongued best friend, oh and blink and you’ll miss Isabella Rossellini. Right on the heels of the Julia documentary it’s a series not to be missed. Bon Appétit!
